Meet Jamesetta

Jamesetta Ross Diggs, ECMH-E® is a mother, an early childhood leader, educator, and the founder of Beyond Early Initiatives LLC (BEI). She provides culturally sensitive, relationship-focused practice in Early Care and Education. Her work bridges relational justice and collective care to empower the adults who directly impact young children’s development and learning. Jamesetta is the creator of the Early Connections Adult-Child Interactions Program, an initiative that promotes positive serve-and-return moments between young children and their caring adults.

With more than 15 fifteen years in service to young children, families, educators, and diverse communities, Jamesetta leads early childhood efforts in the State of Minnesota, conducts relationship-based workshops, and delivers professional development trainings for early educators. Her joy reflects the communities of care she represents, sourcing a deep commitment to early development, adult-child relationships, communal care, and strengthening the systems that support them.

Beyond Early Initiatives bridges relational gaps to transform professional and early care networks, equipping working families and professionals with tools to be leaders in building trusting relationships with young children.
